Eligible businesses in metropolitan melbourne or mitchell shire that have applied or have received an initial 5 000 under the business support fund expansion will be eligible for an additional 5 000 grant without submitting a new application. The online application form can be used to apply for the building bonus grant and the homebuilder grant. Applications can now be submitted up until 14 april 2021 inclusive.

A grant is available for each new home built or purchased as long as the homes are on separate land titles. All questions in the application must be completed and any requested documentation attached to ensure timely assessment and grant payment. A 15 000 grant for building contracts new builds and substantial renovations signed between 1 january 2021 and 31 march 2021 inclusive.

The new upper deeming rate will be 2 25. Both the upper deeming rate of 2 5 and the lower deeming rate of 0 5 will be reduced by 0 25. It also proposes making a 35 billion.

The government announced a 17 6 billion coronavirus stimulus package which will see pensioners benefit recipients apprentices and small businesses benefit from cash handouts and tax relief. The plan calls for providing 15 billion to create a new grant program for small business owners separate from the existing paycheck protection program. Qualifying businesses may be awarded up to 10 million initially with a supplemental grant equal to 50 of the initial grant.
